We’re a fun, friendly, welcoming and inclusive choir based in Eastbourne, East Sussex. We sing an exciting mix of rock, pop, gospel and songs from around the world. From melodies that send shivers down your spine to irresistible toe-tappers that make it impossible to stand still, every song is chosen to lift the heart and bring people together.

Since the choir set up in February 2016, we’ve grown from strength to strength. Our choir members are bound by a shared love of music, laughter and friendship. Our name, The Happy Place Choir, perfectly sums up what this choir means to us. It’s not just a choir… it’s our safe, joyful, inclusive space where everyone belongs. In essence, the choir is our happy place.
Whether you’re a seasoned singer or someone who’s only ever sung hymns in primary school, you’re welcome here. Male or female, young or old, our choir welcomes you. There are no auditions, no pressure - just the simple joy of singing with others in a supportive, happy atmosphere. We meet once a week during term-time and perform at local events, festivals and venues throughout the year.
