Choir Leader
Angela Brooks has been leading The Happy Place Choir since its foundation in 2016. Angela is a professional vocalist and choir leader with over 30 years experience in the music industry. She is also one of the lead singers for the Sway Allstars Orchestra and has performed with world famous artists including Will Young, Robbie Williams, James Brown, Gary Barlow, Kylie Minogue, The Cure, Tricky, The Lighthouse Family and more. Angela uses her extensive experience and expertise to teach songs and harmonies in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Angela also runs a choir in Heathfield and continues to perform both in the UK and abroad.
Choir Leader
Alice is a professional singer/songwriter, with a first class honours degree in Songwriting and Cabaret Performance from the University of Chichester. Currently working professionally as a singer/songwriter and lyricist, with projects like her Debut EP and professional releases including “High Tides” and “Will You Leave London?” Alice is the Founder and Writer at Make It May Productions, making her professional writing and directing debut with her original musical 'The Graduates' at Chichester and Lambeth Fringe. She has previously worked as an Assistant Musical Director. Alice believes that music is the key to creating a happy and fulfilling life and teaches with confidence, kindness and patience.
Founder & Manager
Celine Gucher is the founder and manager of The Happy Place Choir. Celine takes care of the day-to-day management of the choir such as membership, admin and marketing. Celine has been singing in choirs since her early 20's and is deeply passionate about bringing people together through song and creating a sense of community. Celine is a professional Celebrant for weddings and funerals at Creative Heart Ceremonies and an experienced Pilates teacher at Pilates Eastbourne.
